9/7/10 - We have added a Club Photo Albums page to the website under the "members area" heading to keep club related photos available for view. Some of the older slideshows will be added in the near future along with all newer albums.
9/1/10 - The Defiance County Fish & Game will be holding a Youth Shotgun Shoot at the club on Saturday, October 16, 2010. Pre-registration is required, there is NO cost for participation and ANY youth between the age of 10 and 18 can attend. The firearms, ammunition, targets, eye protection, hearing protection, and food will be provided.

8/23/10 - The Fish and Game is planning another youth activity on September 25th. This one will be smaller in number than the Kids Day, but will allow for additional time to be spent on instruction and shooting. Weather permitting, the youth will be shooting steel targets at the outdoor range. In case of rain shooting will be moved to the indoor range inside the Rifle and Pistol Club. We are also going to split the youth by ages with 8-11 shooting in the morning and ages 12-18 in the afternoon. Between the two groups all will be able to have lunch. All needed items: rifles, ammunition, hearing protection, vision protection, and lunch are FREE to any youth meeting the age requirement. Pre-registration is required for any youth to attend.
8/23/10 - The 3RCC has announced the Still Shoot schedule for 2010/11. All shoots start at noon and include activities for kids. There is no shoot scheduled for November.
8/15/10 - The Fish and Game Club held its second annual Kids Day at the club on Sunday, August 15. Kids aged 7 to 17 received instruction and hands on use with BB guns, .22 rifles, archery and muzzleloading rifles. The kids all had a good time and gained experience and knowledge of outdoor sports. Food, drinks and equipment was provided by the club, several club members and the Ohio DNR. Funds for the event were donated through a grant from the Ohio DNR and the Fish & Game Club.

8/5/10 - The club has 2 Winchester-Western Electric Hand Set Traps (Model V1524) for sale. One of the traps is rebuilt, the other is good working condition and was recently removed from the center traphouse. Contact any of the club officers for more information. The club is in the process of upgrading to voice activated traps, one unit has already been purchased and will be in use prior to the club meeting on 8/12. Proceeds from the sale will go towards additional equipment to re-establish trapshooting at the club. The rebuilt unit is $800 and the other unit is $500.
7/23/10 - The Summer newsletter is being mailed out to all active club members. The newsletter can also be viewed by clicking on the link below. If you do not receive the newsletter, let one of the club officers know so that your information can be updated.
7/22/10 - 3RCC has the following gun for sale; Thompson Center Icon .22-250 bolt action rifle w/ ultrawood stock. New in the box. $771. Any questions, call Steve Flory @419-769-1133. This gun will be on sale exclusively to club members until August 7th.
7/9/10 - The outdoor range backstop is completed and target stands are in place. Stone was purchased by the Rifle and Pistol Club to put in a drive back to the 100 yard line. The new range design is set up so all shooters will shoot from the 100 yard line, shorter distances are achieved by moving the target closer to the shooting benches. The new range layout allows several shooters to shoot varying distances safely from the firing ling line. The Rifle and Pistol Club is planning additional changes to the range in the near future to further improve the shooting facilities at the club.
5/22/10 - The 3RCC held their 2010 OUTDOOR EXPO at the Fish and Game on May 22, 2010. In attendance were many area gun dealers, bow dealers, taxidermists, outdoor equipment dealers, custom gun dealers and other outdoor related businesses.
